Hello and Welcome to My Website!
Who in the world am I? Well, I am a woman who has strong opinions on just about everything effecting life. I usually just voice those opinions to my husband, children, or while yelling at my TV/Radio, but my husband started telling me to just “blog it”! Of course, I think he said this just to quiet me some. So here I am. Honestly, this blogging stuff scares me, because I am not one to love writing and secondly, I want to be a woman of integrity and credibility. So to put my thoughts out there makes me feel somewhat vulnerable. But that said, I do care deeply about issues and wish to express my thoughts and hopefully help or inspire others.
I am a thirtysomething Christian. Thanks to my parents, I gave my life to Jesus when I was a teenager. God used them to show me just how much He loved me and what He did for me. I am so greatful.
I am married to a wonderful husband whom I drive crazy quite often. I am a mom to three very precious children ages 12, 10, and 8. They are incredible and they drive me crazy. I wouldn’t trade my family for anything.
I love reading and learning and reading some more. I hope to pass some of that love on to my children so that they too can pass that on to theirs.
I am a cookbook fiend and try out new recipes on my poor family and friends all the time. Some go over and some fail, but I keep on looking at those cookbooks. I guess I would call myself a better baker than a cook. My desserts usually turn out better than my main dishes.
I am a conservative in all areas of life. And I am not afraid or ashamed to let others know that. It is time to stand up for what is right, use common sense and get real.
